Ephraim and Elizabeth are nearly unmentioned in records after their marriage. The First Congregational Church of Dartmouth church records say that, as a widow, she had her children, unnamed, baptized on 27 September 1773.1 This was the church in what is now Acushnet.
Elizabeth was probably the third woman in the Abner Jenne houshold in 17902 and the oldest woman in their 1800 household.3 Her daughter Hannah was surely the Hannah Jenney living in New Bedford (the part that was to become Fairhaven) when the 1810 census was taken.4 She had another woman living with her who was over 45 years old. This evidence suggests Elizabeth died between 1810 and 1820.
