No baptism record form William Dodge has been found, but his approximate age is given in two depostions at the Essex County Quarterly Court. One was recorded in the minutes of the 1 April 1679 session, his age given as about 70.Records and Files of the Quarterly Courts of Essex County, Massachusetts , vol. 7 (Salem, MA: Essex Institute, 1921), [https://salem.lib.virginia.edu/Essex/vol7/images/essex181.html p. 181].
