vital records sources: Hannah's birthdate comes from a Dame family Bible, as transcribed in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, vol. 89, p. It also appears in the Uxbridge vital records. Her marriage date is from the Uxbridge vital records, taken from a Smithfield Monthly Meeting record ("Hannah, d. of Moses and John Reed, son of Jonathan of Smithfield, RI, 24th day, 4th mo. called April, 1755"). Her death date is found in the Dame Bible, but not confirmed in any other record. John is supposedly buried at Mendon. His parents were from Smithfield and Hannah's family were in Uxbridge. Hannah may be buried in Mendon as well, but having close associations with the Smithfield Meeting, perhaps they lived in the south part of Mendon. There is a Friends Cemetery in Mendon, but what Monthly Meeting included Mendon?
