His first marriage is in the Middlesex County Court annual returns of vital records transcribed in NEHGR, 17:172 and included in Vital Records of Sudbury, Massachusetts, to the end of the year 1849 (Boston: 1903), 260, with the notation "MR" (Middesex Record); the second marriage and death from the Marlborough vital records, and the third from Concord, Massachusetts, Births, Marriages, and Deaths 1635-1850, 19.
