vital records sources: Her death is from the Middlesex Co. MA, annual returns of vital records from the towns (Concord, Massachusetts births, marriages, and deaths, 1635-1850 (Boston, MA: 1895?), p. 6). The new year at this time started on 25 March making the dual year in this case 1648/9. It's possible that Susana died from complications of childbirth with Obadiah's daughter Susana. Her birth year is damaged in the original record, but it was in the 1640s after her brother Samuel. She was born on 16 March and the elder Susana died on 24 March.
