William Reynnard prob. William Hathaway Reynard, son of John & Mary, b. 6 Feb 1808 (NB vrs, "from the William H. Reynard family Bible, now in the possession of Walter Thomas Almy of New Bedford") called Capt. William H. Reynard on wife's gravestone, New Bedford. Marr. Emily Howland Russell 9 Aug 1831.(NB vrs)
Matthew Howard was a nephew of John Briggs, b. 12 Mar 1805, New Bedford (now Fairhaven, Fairhaven vrs), son of William and Diadama (Briggs) Howard. William Howard was the second cousin of John's wife Elizabeth Jenney. Matthew m. Deborah Hamblen Jenney, 22 Feb 1827, Fairhaven (vrs). Deborah was the niece of Elizabeth Jenney, daughter of Abisha and Phebe (Jenney) Jenney. His age is the same as it was given on the 1821 crewlist of WLP. He was actually 18.
