Abigail and her first cousin Elizabeth, daughter of Joseph Bachelor, "having been propounded a months time for no exception against them they making their confession and renewing their covenant were admitted to full communion" at the First Church at Salem, 12 January 1662/63.1 probably died when giving birth to her son Peter or shortly thereafter. Her husband Peter remarried about seven months after Peter, Jr., was born.
