Of his real estate, he sold numerous lots and a new homestead in Concord to his son Samuel on 26 December 1689. To his son Ebenezer numerous pieces of land in Concord on 17 April 1704. This transaction had the proviso that.... The last deed was on 22 July 1712, when he sold land in Concord to his sons Edward and more land to son Samuel. John's death in the Concord town records says "Mr. John Wheeler ye husband of Sarah his wife dyed September 17 day 1713." It was very unusual to mention a man's wife in his death record.
